Shabbat
It's Time for Summer Shabbat Services!
Summer services are held on our beautiful outdoor patio (weather permitting) beginning June 25, and continuing throughout the summer at 6:00 pm.
"I know of no more meaningful way to usher in Shabbat than by joining a warm community in prayer. The breezes that waft through the willows and the fir trees recall nothing short of the Garden of Eden. The music and the poetry of the prayer book reassert that, no matter how bad the news of the week, Shabbat holds within it a power for redemption and renewal.
The Hasidic teachers of old used to teach that it was important to spend an hour in preparation to pray, ostensibly praying that one might be able to pray. Given the inspiring surroundings of our outdoor sanctuary, preparation to pray is almost instantaneous.
We hope you will join us in welcoming Shabbat and each other this Friday evening at 6:00 p.m."
